The 1776 Project Pac
As many readers know, Critical Race Theory is a social pandemic infecting the minds of America’s children in schools across the country. It’s a doctrine pushed by the left that teaches our children to value individuals based on the color of their skin rather than the content of their character. The 1776 Project Pac was founded to identify the cure to this social ill by empowering patriotic parents and citizens to reclaim their rights to raise their children to love America while obtaining a quality education.
The 1776 Project PAC founder Ryan Girdusky has said that we “will campaign on behalf of school board candidates that want to promote a patriotic vision of U.S. history and civics. We will oppose those members who are dividing our country with critical race theory.”
In our newsletter, we will bring the spotlight to several school board candidates dedicated to the mission of building a better education system for our children and keep you informed of critical race theory in the news.

Endorsement Spotlight:
This week, the 1776 Project Pac wants to highlight three Pennsylvania candidates we’ve endorsed for their district school boards
We’re thrilled to endorse Greg Dolan for the School Board in the Fox Chapel Area District of Pennsylvania. A father of three young children and a U.S. history teacher, Dolan routinely works to improve the quality of education for families in his community. Dolan is a fierce advocate against the school board’s forced mask mandates, siding with parents who petition for their right to choose whether or not their child should have to wear a mask.
Dolan pledges to end critical race theory indoctrination in schools within his district.
“FCASD teachers are being trained (link) to tell kids as young as 4 that they are inherently racist. This is unfair to our teachers and damaging to children,” says Dolan. “I have spoken up against this all year and will not stop until FCASD gets back to promoting the vision of MLK not CRT. “
He also pledges to reduce taxes for residents and maintain fiscal responsibility in his district.
We’re proud to endorse Michelle Glenn Youngfor School Board in the State College Area District in Pennsylvania.
Young, raised in a military family, is the mother of three sons and a retired U.S. Navy commander, where she served 22 years. She has a political science degree from the University of California and two master’s degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School and U.S. Marine Corps University. After retiring from the military, Young went on to become a stay-at-home mom to raise her children and volunteer to improve the educational future of children in her community.
“The fundamental freedoms afforded us by our Constitution are so embedded in our lives that many of us take it for granted. It is individual liberty, innovation, moral fortitude, and entrepreneurship that makes the US a leader among nations,” says Young. “It is important that our children understand all that our nation offers in comparison to the current global environment.”
Young says that if elected to the school board, she will work to “[protect] our children from divisive ideology and pedagogy” and enforce an environment whereby children are “measured by our character.”
We’re excited to also endorse Craig Stonaha for the school board in the Wilson school district in Pennsylvania.
A father and a husband, Stonaha is a life-long resident of Berks County, Pennsylvania. He graduated from King’s College and holds a Master’s degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Villanova. In 2005, he started his own business and now owns multiple companies in the area, employing dozens of locals. He’s deeply involved in charities and the school’s parent-teacher organization.
Stonaha says he will work to end the Critical Race Theory agenda in classrooms.
“He is open to conversations about differences, diversity, etc, but does not agree with pushing the CRT Agenda on our kids,” says the Stonaha for Wilson School Board Pac. “Craig is hoping to bridge the gap between the community and the school board. He is committed to putting in the work to get results.”
Critical Race Theory News:
Fox News reported this week that Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), one of the country’s wealthiest school systems, is planning to direct over $20 million of funds it received from Congress’s coronavirus relief bill earlier this year toward “equity training.” The training in the school system would serve as “conduits for left-wing ideas about race and identity” quite similar to that of Critical Race Theory.
The 89th Annual Conference of Mayors adopted a long list of Critical Race Theory resolutions following their recent meeting, declaring that it should be taught in all public schools for students from kindergarten to high school. Their resolution included affirmations such as “[BIPOC] students need an equitable allocation of resources to fill in the gaps in achievement compared to their White counterparts”
North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper vetoed a bill pushed by Republicans in the state legislature that would have restricted Critical Race Theory in public schools, CBS 17 reported. He accused the anti-CRT bill of “push[ing] calculated, conspiracy-laden politics into public education.”
